Background:
The lady Cerise has served the goddess Shelyn (goddess of art, love, beauty, and music) for many years, going from cleric in her service to taking her paladin oath at the age of 20. The sacred oath she swore to her goddess was the Oath of the Rose: to see beauty in others, to live her life as art, to act as a shield for innocents and inspire them to do the same. She gained her paladin powers soon after her oath.
She also gained a magical weapon gifted to her by Shelyn herself, a glaive that looks like an artist's brush , and a beautifully ornate suit of armor that shines with the holy light of her goddess in the presence of evil. Her combat experience allows her to wield her weapon perfectly, striking with artful, yet deadly precision.


Magic Items:

• Prodigy: A glaive that for all intents and purposes, looks like an oversized artist's brush. When wielded by a paladin of Shelyn, critical strikes cause a small cloud of multi-colored butterflies (each appearing to be made out of light and color) that mesmerizes the target makes all attacks against her be at a disadvantage for the next two minutes.
• Ring of Seven Colors: A beautifully crafted ring that shines with all the colors of the spectrum, and allows her to transform into a large eagle (with brilliant gold and silver feathers).
