[Note from Operative Borealis]
We've come face to face with the enemy.....and they are relentless. The Collectors are more aggressive than any other force we've come across, and more intelligent to boot. My allies barely kept them at bay for us to escape. Jorgal Skorch, our battlemaster, was wounded by a group of Collector Soldiers. He managed to fight them off long enough for Lysandra to give him covering fire.
Here's my report on the Collectors' forces for the Council.
Collector Soldiers: The basic grunt, but the difference is that they are quick, intelligent, and ruthless. They managed to flank us, (something no other faction has been able to do), and they just kept coming. Some get possessed by Harbinger, giving them a small biotic barrier. But the frustrating part is that Possessed Soldiers can summon a Collector Web which slows us down and shuts down our shields/barriers.
Collector Captain: The saboteur for the Collectors, the Captain can summon Seeker Swarms to scramble our biotic implants and our offensive/defensive tech. Take them out quickly.
Abominations: A variation on the Reaper Husks, these abominations explode with the force of a small bomb when destroyed or when it grabs hold of you. Lennata, our Huntress, barely managed to get one off of her before it exploded, injuring her severely. Possessed Abominations, are much more dangerous because they detonate like a nuke fired from the M-930 Cain. Take out at a distance as quickly as possible.
Scions: A brutal combination of Brute and Ravager, the Scion is very different than the ones Commander Shepard gave reports of. Their massive arm cannon can keep you pinned while the Soldiers and the swarms get close and personal with you. A possessed Scion can lob cluster grenades, covering the field, drawing you out of cover. Oh, and on an added note, do NOT let them get close to you, as they could grab you and dispatch you quickly.
Praetorians: All of these creatures are bad in their own way.....but nothing has filled my heart with fear and dread than the sight of the vaunted Praetorian. Not even the Banshees brought me this much terror. They are fast, powerful, and deadly in every respect. Avoid or take down swiftly at ALL COST.
Admiral Hackett, I recommend increasing the forces you are currently sending on these "N7" missions. I will petition the Council to have them send you new forces to combat this new threat.

Councilor, I just wanted to thank you for sending us the new forces from the Armiger Legion. Your Ghosts and Havocs have been a welcome addition to our teams. But I must admit, I wasn't expecting you to send us Volus adepts and engineers. It wasn't until I saw their superior tech and biotic implants that I started to see their potential. Never had an adept with the tech from a Sentinel, an Infiltrator, and an engineer before. I heard that Tevos will be sending some of her best and brightest in the coming weeks, along with Urdnot Wrex managing to send us some of his spare forces.
I think we will be able to win this war......and we owe it all to one woman......Commander Shepard.
Admiral Steven Hackett
Your Volus adepts keep referring to themselves as "biotic gods".....is this normal?

Sir, I've been getting distressing reports from our bases on Ontarom and Cyrone.
Massive sandstorms have been hammering our communication hubs on Ontarom, severely reducing visibility and increasing the number of casualties. Our reactors on Cyrone are not faring much better. They have been damaged by the number of skirmishes, causing meltdowns.
I've also heard of other reports from our other bases. Not clear as of yet what's wrong, but I will send you my reports as I find out.
Spread the word to the fleets to watch themselves out there.
