Commander Shepard:

DAHL Intel Report
Class: Siren
Traits: Determined, Headstrong, Badass
Action Skill: Phasebreak

Phasebreak:
Shepard learns how to channel her Siren energy into a tactically powerful Action Skill that she calls PhaseBreak. As a Siren's powers manifest, they tend to take form in a single spell......specifically tailored to that particular Siren (Phasewalk, Phaselock, Phaseshift.....and so on). Shepard can envelop an enemy in a hyper-reactive space-time field, effectively stripping them of shields and/or armor.....even breaking their very mind, rendering them effectively inept and helpless. If the target has no shields, it dazes them temporarily, giving a few seconds breathing room.

Paragon:
Skill tree that ties into her newly awakened Siren spell, while combining it with her own personal tech and abilities.

Tier 1:
  • Fortification: Increases her shield capacity and shield recharge delay. [0/5]
  • Medi-Gel Infuser: Health regenerates when shields are full. [0/5]
Tier 2:
  • Adrenaline Rush: Kill Skill. If enemy is killed while under the effects of Phasebreak, increases movement speed for a short time. [0/5]
  • Warp Rounds: Kill Skill. If enemy is killed while under the effects of Phasebreak, increases fire rate for a short time. 10% chance of rounds dealing Slag damage. [0/5]
Tier 3:
  • Space Diva: Shake off elemental effect damage faster. [0/5]
  • Spark of Defiance: Action Skill Augmentation. When Phasebreak successfully hits a target, it supercharges them with a high-voltage current. Any enemy near the target receives instant shock damage. [0/1] "Go for the optics, Chatika!
  • Justicar Meditation: When health is full, her accuracy and shield recharge delay increases [0/5]
Tier 4:
  • Spectre Status Recognized: Cooldown rate increases. [0/5]
Tier 5:
  • Two to Tango: For every ally, she gains bonuses to gun, phasebreak, and elemental damage. [0/5] "Come on, it'll be fun."
Tier 6:
  • Reversal of Fortune: Action Skill Alteration. Alters the phasebreak field to drain health as well as shields. Drains a portion of the shields to replenish her own, and transfusing a chunk of health to her. [0/1] "She messed with my hamster guys.....now it's personal."

Next Tree: TBA
Final Tree: TBA after second reveal.
Well I've been putting some serious thought into turning Shepard into a full-fledged character in Borderlands, so in doing so, I had to design a skill tree build for her.

I will add the next two trees once they are done. Hope you all enjoy my ideas, and the subtle jokes/references.

Alyssa Shepard is of my own design.
All things Pandora belong to Gearbox.

That's the plan, harder to get a chapter going for this one rather than Lineage or Dragon Effect :XD: Took a week to write up the prologue :D

That is perfectly fine and understandable! I adore your creative flow no matter when it happens to come. Try not to stress, no getting sick from overwork and such. Yes, I'm sorry. I'm an odd deviant stalker

Phase break? Overpowered as hell, much?
Unless she can only use it every few hours or something :p

Wait, it works better on targets with more defences? Hmmm...

I'll admit to being a bit confused here. About what, well, I'm not seven sure right now.

Not really that overpowered. Didn't say how much of the shields or Armor is stripped. One of the skill trees will have a skill that will increase the amount taken. I was making it sound badass in the initial description.
Plus that's like saying Axton or Gaige are overpowered...or any character for that matter.....which is the entire point of Borderlands.

I was looking at all the characters skill trees and was making my own based on those.....I thought it was pretty appropriate for a Siren class.

Hmmmm... Alright, I accept your argument. Either way, I want to keep reading it. :)

Dude... This is so overpowered. So, I am to assume that Shepard's Biotics are somehow replaced with Siren Powers? I can dig it.

My advice for the next ones? Try to make them very distinct from one another. A rather obvious tip, but most people fail to understand how hard making a balanced Skill Tree in any game really is.

One Question: what's the initial cooldown time for Phasebreak?

It's really not that overpowered. That would be like saying Axton, Gaige, Krieg, etc are overpowered....which they are. But let's be honest.....that's the whole point of Pandora and Borderlands. Plus PhaseBreak doesn't strip the shield away completely, just puts a large dent in it when the skill is leveled up right, same with the armor.

Dude, I had all 10 skill tree builds in front of me so I could design one for Shepard without stealing too much from other skill trees. This one is a pretty good Siren powered tree.

Each tree is going to focus on something different, just like any other characters. I know what I'm doing, been playing Borderlands since the original came out.

Cooldown time is about 1 minute 25 seconds each time, and if the cooldown rate is increased, 1 minute total.
